G'day and great work with Centrafuse
I've done a search but haven't had any luck, not sure if this is a bug or feature request or more of a 'can't find how to adjust it' thing.
When in NAV mode with
music playing in the back ground, when a turn is approching the music fades/stops for the voice prompt but I'm finding that the music resumes too soon and starts playing while the voice prompt is still giving directions.
For example, in Australia we've been blessed (!!) with roundabouts, so when approching some roundabouts the voice prompts will say 'Keep left, proceed driving around the roundabout, third exist, 500 metres' but the music resumes at about the '....the roundabout, third exit, 500 metres' point so you get a mix of music and voice prompts. It wouldn't be so bad if the voice prompts were louder than the music, but they are always softer.
Is there a setting to stop the music playing over the voice prompts ? I've set the 'cross fade' time to 10 seconds which helped a little but now the next track starts playing before the last track has finished...
It'd be great if the music only restarted when the voice prompts have finished, and you could have a seperate volume setting for the voice prompts, so if the music is set very low the voice prompts will be louder to grab your attention. Not sure how this will be done cause if you've got the music really high then the voice prompts will be MEGA loud when they play.
On a side note, some of the directions that Destinator gives when it comes to roundabouts is funny. Just get's confused and get's it really wrong sometimes. It's not a Centrafuse thing, definatly a Desinator thing. I was coming up to one roundabout and it told me to keep left, proceed driving around the roundabout, take 6th exit. But all I wanted to do was go straight ahead. lol Thank god the map was right
