Love Centrafuse...but...

Okay, I just started using CF and really like the program. Feels very 'professional' I guess you could say. But there's a couple things that makes me wonder, "why is it programed like that?"

First, Why does the music keep getting muted when switching between various functions and going back the 'media' function. I really liked CF how you could browse through the features (Navi, settings, etc...) without my music muting like in other front ends. But how come it mutes when going back the media function?

Second, why do I have to click play after I click on a specific song? For example, I go to Artist > Tom Petty > Wild Flowers > Mary Jane's Last Dance...Why do I have to click play? Seems obvious that if I click on a song then I want to play that song. The only other reason to click on it is to maybe cue it for when the current song is done. That would be cool if there was a 'cue' button. But if I wanted all Tom Petty's song to show up in a list then I would browse to Artist > Tom Petty, then hit the play button to load all Tom Petty Songs. Similarly, if I went to Genre > Classic Rock and hit play, all the songs in that genre would load into the list.

Does this make since?

Just enable single-click in the settings to have what you want.

The reason it doesn´t default to this you explained yourself. Use the "+" key on the right to add it to your queue. What you described about choosing a genre/artist should work, if you "mark" it by selecting in "non-single-click-mode" and click on play it should play all sub-entries immediately.
