    yeah, obd worked great in either rc3 or rc4.x, but now i cant get it to work at all. i tried pressing the connect button maybe 3 times then gave up.

    ill search for a error log if i get a chance.

    I think I last saw it work somewhat reliably around Beta 1.6, maybe 1.7.

    I also use this cable.
    mine connects in CF, but does not show any data, allthough the data leds are flashing...
    I also will look into my error.log file tomorrow..

    Make sure you have the baud rate set right in CF. The OBD2AllInOne defaults to 9600 but can be set internally to 38400. If the baud rate in CF doesn't match the device, then you could get symptoms like you're seeing.

    We will get it figured out... This was one plugin I did not create, another developer did...

    The only two things I didn't write in Centrafuse personally are the OBDII plugin and the Updater, both of which I am going to start working on... They both have create starts, but I put the developer on other tasks so they somewhat got forgotten about, mainly the updater... it should have been fixed multiple version ago...

    I will post up a debug version for people to run and send me files hopefully next week....

    I just found out today I have Pneumonia, so I will be out sick for a few days... I will still be ont he forums, but probably not doing much coding...

    With all the medicine I don't want to break anything

    We will get it fixed, it's got to be something simple because it's working here...

    Regarding the AccessPort device. While this device does provide a serial interface, we currently only support the ELM chipset and protocol. Any other serial devices that have Serial OBD-II does not mean it will work with CF, only ones with the ELM chips. This device is similar to the VAG-COM tools used with VW/Audi autos. They provide a serial interface to OBD-II, but not using the ELM chipset.

    This said, it IS possible to communicate with these devices, but we do not currently support them. We may add support in the future but we are currently focusing on finishing the app.

    I checked my logs today, and this is what it says:

    object reference not set as an instant of an object
    at centrafuse.obdii.resetchip()

    in CF when i hit the connect button, it connect without any problem (if i set my baud rate to 9600), but just won't show any data (although my elmscan is sending data according to the flashing leds on it...)

    Hope this helps david and raygun
