    Phone Ap for Blackberry Users

Is there a phone ap for Blackberry users. Absolutely love Centrafuse and would love to integrate my phone. I use a Blackberry 8100. It appears PhoCo does not plan to support Blackberry at all. Anyone have any recommendations...other than getting a different phone?

Without starting a new thread, any information on how the Motorola MotoKRZR works with Phoco and CF?

I only ask because the interface atleast looks very similar to that of the Razr, but phoco's site does not list this model as being supported. Sorry to thread jack, just didnt see this as important enough to start a new one.

try searching for your phone on the forums at http://www.phoco.net and see if any users have gotten it to work...

I have a 8800 if people need a tester. It support bluetooth 2.0.

I could export my address book to the carpc, so it's looking good for the newer models.

I don't think it's going to happen. I'm pretty sure that the standard implementation of BlackberryOS only supports audio / headset profiles, and Serial profiles only on incoming data. Meaning you can't export data serially via the BT connection.

I'm pretty sure you can't sync with desktop manager via BT either, only the USB connection.

You can sync it with bluetooth, I've done it. I used to work for the cellular company, I've pretty much done everything with a CDMA Blackberry you can attempt. Some of the things they're supporting now I wrote the D.I.Y. manual for.

As far as I know Blackberry devices only natively support Heaset/Handsfree Profile. Phoco uses SPP only, therefore unless there is a custom app running on the blackberry device, which can be done using RIM API's to enable a SPP service and register a SPP service record in the SDP database (although incorrectly), there is no way for Phoco to utilize it. I've developed apps for Blackberry for years now, this is the way that it is despite what others can say. An exception though that I have seen is that there is a special AT command you can send the blackberry over the handsfree channel to retrieve the phonebook contents, don't know what it is though I think it's proprietary info, and it doesn't do Phoco any good anyway...

I may soon be starting on a real full functionality bluetooth app for the carpc world, i hope you stay tuned...
