Destinator Australia Maps + Trial Centrafuse

Hi,

I've been using the trial of centrafuse for a while now. I previously used the Destinator 3 maps which i purchased before I found centrafuse. These maps will no longer work with the latest versions of CF - I understand this.

My question is this: Is there ANY way to use the D3 maps on the current RC trial versions of CF?

If not: Is there some D6 Australian trial maps that can be used to trial the RC versions of Centrafuse?

I'm sorry if this has been answered previously, but I've done extensive searching and couldnt find anything relevant

There will be an Australian version available for sale soon once the initial version of Centrafuse is released on the website...

All maps will be included... They are newly compiled Q4 06 Australian maps that will be included with Centrafuse....

Ok that makes sense. So another way to answer my question would be to say that there is in fact not going to be no trial of Centrafuse supplied with the Australian GPS maps at all? By the sounds of it the only way to retrieve the D6 maps (or a version of the D6 maps which are compatible with CF from what ive been reading!) is to purchase them from Flux, so therefore there isnt actually a trial including maps possible? Sorry to push the point, I just wanted to confirm this so I can plan for the cost of CF as soon as it's sale'able! :P

you can't send out full map data with a trial, so no there will be no trial with complete maps... I do not own the map data and this is not allowed under our agreements...

I'd love to volunteer for beta testing too. I've had a carputer with CF for a while now and use it daily so I'd be a great platform for testing the Australian version!

everyone using Centrifuse at the moment is a Beta tester... that's the point.

Read what David just said... He can't send out maps with the trial version under the licence arrangement. You'll have to pay for it like the rest of us. But until the actual commercial release, we are all still Beta testers.

hmm just to let you know your australian d3 maps do work with centrafuse rc5. well at least they work in nsw
