I will report this to Destinator...

Hi @all!
I've a problem with my gps mouse. It's a SIRF device.
Normaly i've 8 - 12 satellites, but after hibernate i would show me only 1 or 2 satellites, so i can't navigate.
If i change the settings no NMEA, i allways have 8 - 12 satellites, also after a resume of my system.
Aktualy my way to work with the SIRF protocoll.
I resume my system, go to settings, change SIRF to NMEA, switch no the Navigation Application and i can see many satellites, so i go back and switch to SIRF and it will work with SIFT, too (until to the next resume after hibernate).
I tryed it with xport and some other tools like this, but i allways get the same results:
With NMEA it works, with SIRF i must allways change the settings to NMEA and following back to SIRF.
I thinks its a bug of CF.
Have anyone the same problem?
Thanks!
I will report this to Destinator...

I'm having a similar problem, but with both SIRF and NMEA.
I have to close CF after resuming from hibernation, start SIRFDemo and click "Open data source" and "synchronize port and baud rate" (not sure if the synch. is neccesary). After doing that I can open CF and it instantly starts navigating.
does your GPS mouse work with any software on resume from hibernation?
you can try to set in System\config.xml the flag RELOADCOMPORTS to True, this will cause Destinator to reinit device on resume, but if the device is not running on resume at all it might not work...
if closing Centrafuse and reloading on resume does not work this most like will not either, but try...

It used to work fine with previous versions of Centrafuse.
I'm not sure how to test if it works with other programs after hibernation, but I will definitely try the RELOADCOMPORTS-setting - it sounds like a possible solution.
I just tried setting the RELOADCOMPORTS to True. It didn't seem to help.
When I close Centrafuse, open SIRFDemo and select Open Data Source -> Synchronize Port & Baud Rate (works with the Initialize Data Source as well) -> close SIRFDemo -> Start Centrafuse it's spot on.
After putting it into hibernation and waking it up again the light is on in the GPS unit but Centrafuse reports 0 (or other times 2) sattelites.
