    Image_selected

I'm the first to post here.... yay!

Anyway, when I click on some button, it doesn't always go back to its original state. Example attached (and no, I'm not holding the button during the screenshot).

BTW: Same thing happens when its playing and I press pause and then press it again.. it still looks like i'm paused.

That is by design... That is the on state of the button... The reason, in that picture, the voice button is always blue is because its disabled and the disabled state for that button is in the on image... I went ahead and programmed three states... off,down,on... All the disabled states are stored in the on image.. example mute and voice recognition... If you don't like the on state you can simply overwrite all the "on" versions of the images with copies of the "off" versions in the skin folder..

I'm ok with the voice button, but why does it stay "down" when I finished clicking on volume down

That is the "on" state.. I programmed in 3 button states off,down,on.. So after you press any button it's state is "on" until another button is pressed. It shows the last button you pressed. If you go into the skins folder and look at any of the "on" versions of the screens you will see that all buttons are blue in the "on" state... This can easily be adjusted and is a skin level thing.. All you would need to do is change all the on versions of the skin... It's common in web apps and a lot of windows programs to show an "on" state... So I made it an option in my skinning and showed that option off in the beta default skin... It doesn't make as much sense in a car touchscreen enviroment, but thats why it is something that is adjustable by the skin... This is skin is not finished yet... still working on it....

np at all... I appreciate you answering questions for me in the forum and using my software I will probably take the on state out for most of the buttons in my final skin because I agree that it doesn't really make sense in car touchscreen enviroment...

Thanks And I'm not even using this in my car... I'm using it as my home audio player to test for stability

i would suggest not taking them out of the final skin, but make the three states all different. And include a focus state, mouse rollover. So you'll have on, off , and focus. This can be of use in car for those without touchscreens or the touchscreen on there screen dosent work (like me). If you could also add tab support, ie ability to keep hitting tab to focus on each button and on a skin level the ability to define the order of the tabbed buttons, ie when i hit tab twice it goes to this button etc.

sounds good... There are three different states, but the down state is just not that drastic.. if you look close you will see all three
