I know this has been discussed, and that it is NOT a bug, but I would rather have the pause button behave as follows:

When playing a song, the button displays a PLAY icon. When hitting the PLAY icon, the PAUSE icon appears, and it blinks (on/off twice per second) until it is pressed again. This is rather standard for all audio playing devices.

Of course I realize the challenge of doing this from a 'skinning' standpoint.

EDIT: Just thought of a nice way to do the blinking effect. You could alternate between the regular PAUSE icon, and the hilited Pause icon. (alternate between the regular and the down version)

I edited my skin so that it displays an illuminated pause button when music as paused, as well as edited the voice command button and connection button to only be illuminated when it's active. Same behavior as the mute button, basically.

    Also a great idea.

IMO the less "blinking" things in a car the better. This is not your home-entertainment system, this is a car where your attention is needed elsewhere.

I feel the same thing about scrolling text, although that´s a difficult one because I also like to know the entire song-title

But the less blinking/scrolling/beeping the better.

The text should scroll initially if it does not fit... There is currently no way to make it scroll again, but I have been thinking about making it scroll every few seconds...

    Once is enough for me

To me 1 scroll when changing track is fine. If you then add the option i mentioned a few months ago, where you could push a button and then all the info of the song (title, album, year etc) displayed in a info-box which can disapper just by touching it.
