Is it possible to change this behavior? If CF can change the Gamma w/i the program can't it change it back when exiting? IOW, right now it seems that it works like this:
Lets say we have a scale where 1 is the darkest gamma & 10 is the brightest.
Lets say our current monitor settings are at 5
I launch CF and have it set to CF's brightest gamma (CF_1). CF exits,
windows gamma remains at 5
I launch CF and set the CF gamma to CF_2 (1 step darker). CF exits. Windows gamma is now at 4 instead of 5.
I reset windows to gamma 5
I relaunch CF (remember it's set to CF_2 gamma). I do nothing and exit.
Windows gamma is back at 4.
I repeat the same procedure, but this time do not reset windows gamma to 5.
I exit CF, and windows gamma is now at 3.
Relaucnh & exit CF
Windows Gamma now at 2
Reset windows gamma to 5.
Relaunch CF.
Set CF Gamma to CF_1
Exit
Windows gamma at 4 (dropped down one because CF dropped it down when launching at CF_2).
Reset windows gamma to 5
Relaunch CF (gamma preset to CF_1)
Exit CF
Windows Gamma is set to 5 (IOW, no change)
This is confusing any annoying behavior. Can't CF make note of windows initial gamma setting, and then NO MATTER HOW you change the gamma in CF, when you exit the app, it resets the gamma in windows to the way it was BEFORE I launched?
The way it is now I have to launch CF at CF_1, darken it, then brighten it before exiting, etc.
Thanks,
