1.5 won't run...

I copied CF1.4 to 'Copy of Centrafuse' folder so as not to lose my tweaks and skins...

Funny thing is, CF1.5 starts to load, then just bombs back to desktop and terminates just before Splash screen should say 'loading graphics' (or something). If I run CF1.4 from its new folder, it works fine

If I copy back centrafuse.exe 1.4 over 1.5 in the new folder it works... I have installed, uninstalled, reinstalled, and still no joy!

Anyone got any ideas?

try renaming the license file in the 1.4 folder to hide it from 1.5 and then delete any license in the 1.5 folder

makes no difference...still just terminates.

install 1.5 in parallel. it doesn't work properly if you install it over 1.4.

I did.

I renamed existing 1.4 folder to 'Copy of Centrafuse' folder, then installed 1.5

1.5 didn't work, but 1.4 did.

It only seems to be the exe file that doesn't work. I have re-DL'ed it many times with same result.

I even copied CF folder to CD as backup, and totally removed CF and installed 1.5 from fresh, still no workie

Tried deleteing license file too, it just re-creates it when I repair/re-install CF

Don't install 1.5 to the same path as 1.4 was installed. See if this works:

Leave CF1.4 in C:\Program Files\Flux Media\Centrafuse
Install CF1.5 in C:\Program Files\Flux Media\Centrafuse1.5
Try to run CF1.5
If it works, make a backup copy of CF1.5
Try copying a couple whatever config files from 1.4 to 1.5
