the "settings" menu doesn't scale to 640x480 (yes my screen only looks good at this resolution) however much more of it works correctly at 640x480 than 1.5 did

this version has an incedibly slow load time compared to 1.5

    - as well as the menu system is very tedious

    - the phonecontrol app recognizes my phone (t637 sonyericsson)
but the application does not opperate...

I am not by the machine at the moment, but I will check out the error.log later and post what I find. Also, if CF purposely mutes the selected input, is it possible to have CF release the mute when CF is closed? Thanks for the quick response!

PS - I can tell you, when all the tweaks and bugs are done, Centrafuse will be the PERFECT in car solution. I have seen many complaints and gripes about bugs and what-not...but rest assured there are MANY of us here who understand all the time and work that has gone into this project...and I know that these issues will be resolved. I just appreciate the opportunity to use the beta software while you are developing the commercial release! Even though there are some "bugs" here and there with the new releases, this is still the best front end available! If it wasn't, people wouldn't be using it and taking the time to report their gripes. I for one have been very impressed with the progress, and wish to say THANK YOU!

(Besides...if it worked perfectly the first time I loaded it I would't have any fun building my carputer).

    Hi,

A problem when trying to install 1.6.

1.5 installation was fine, worked perfect until expiration of the license.

    so I did :

    - 1.5 unistallation
    - Removed all "Flux Media" folders
    - installed 1.6.
--> the installation seems to be ok untill the end of installation, after Phoco config, I have this message and the installation removes itself automatically.

I have redownload the package 3 times but I have the same message.

I run under a Compact Flash and I desactivated EWF before installation.
    Any idea?

Unhappy Infinite import, fills hard drive

If you try to import, and the source directory is the same as your library path, CF will create nested copies of the directory within itself. It will do this over and over until you cancel it or the hard drive runs out of space.

    David,
I recently upgraded to the iBase MB896 motherboard which features an Optical SPD/IF Out. I had been using a Creative Lab Live! External with a Coxial SPD/IF Out into my AMP. I switched over to the onboard Optical and now Centrafuse doesn't adjust my Volume at all. Any ideas or suggestions?

If you are getting true SPDIF out then windows would not be able to control the volume. If you could adjust the volume then it would not be a true SPDIF passthrough to your AMP.

There should be an option for a stereo mix that sometimes makes the volume control in windows work again, but this would not be true SPDIF passthrough. The whole point of SPDIF passthrough is to send an untouched signal to your AMP for processing.

Thanks for the info. That makes complete sense. I guess that's way my AMP comes with the handy remote and IR Sensor. It just makes me extra lazy to not even have to touch the screen to control the volume...lol
