    BUG: OGG files not sorting by Track?

    I am at a loss here... can anyone confirm that their OGG files are sorting by Track, when loading an album? It sorts alphabetically for me no matter what.

    MP3 files are sorting just fine though.

    Thanks!

    Best way to test this is, if you have Microsoft Access, open the file "main.dat" in Access. Then look in the table that has all the TAG information...

    Find your OGG files and see if I was able to read the track number, if it's set to 0 for all your OGG files, then that means it was unable to read the tracks.. If this is the case simple email one of the OGG files that is not working to support and I will get it fixed...

    If there are track numbers in the database, then somethings not working and I will get it fixed, but if it's only your OGG files I am going to guess I couldn't read the track number and it defaulted to 0 in the TAG table, which tells Centrafuse no track numbers default back to sorting alpha...

    David,

    I ran this query:

    SELECT id3.id, id3.filename, id3.album, id3.artist, id3.genre, id3.title, id3.tracknum
    FROM id3
    WHERE (((id3.filename) Like "*OGG*") AND ((id3.tracknum)<>0));

    And it returned ZERO rows. (Note: My fielname includes path OGG, hence the query)

    So, this means that every single OGG file I have, has a track number equal to '0'.
    That's about 1000 OGG files by the way. I opened them in TheGodFather, and yes they are showing Track numbers in the ID fields! Still want me to send you one OGG?

    If you can please email one of the OGG files you know has track number to support and I will look into why they are not getting read...

    Cool. It used to work in CF 1.4 for sure, with the SAME ogg files. Must have broken somewhere between 1.4 and RC1 !
