I mean that CF are showing to little, its useless in a small contry if you only get the poi thats 10km close.

It should be 100km or more.

    IN CF:

IN CF - BUT USING DESTINATORS OWN MENU:

I will check the radius... I don't set it, I left it to the default... I will look into this...

Right now I have it set to 25KM....

I guess I should make this an option, most GPS software doesn't, but I can...

What does everyone else think... What is a good POI radius...

100km is way to large.... I don't want to see a gas station 60 miles away and think I can make it, but maybe that is why it should be configurable...

This is also an option un-experienced users could mess with to hurt their navigation experience if they didn't understand...

maybe only an option in an XML file...

    thoughts?

My suggestion would be to make it an option in the GPS plugin confguration.

One of the features I really appreciate about CF is the overall sleek, integrated setup, and the ease of setup.. not having to jump through hoops (for instance editing XML).

this will explain where all my POI's have gone

I regularly do 50+ mile drives (80km) so a 25km radius is no good for me

I like the idea of setting your own radius
Why not have a button which changes from 'SHOW All' to 'SHOW LOCAL' and have it change from say 20km to full map region. Best of both world, you could also add a setting to adjust local poi distance.

Being able to import POI's in OV2 format directly to POI's folder NOT Favourites. Otherwise when you add a favourite, say a friends house, it makes it hard work to find amongst 30-40 other POI Favourites. This seems to be what happens with my D3 extra POI's. The 'My Favourites' option is half way down a big POI list.

OK i found that the stickey button bug can also be an advantage for my on the volume.

for instance if i were on say low volume 1 or 2 and i wanted to go to full i would press the volume up 2 times really fast and let it get stuck. then as it gets near full volume i would press the volume up again to stop it. same with volume down if i almost home and i have the volume up i double click the volume down and the volume gets stuck and when the volume is almost at min i hit the volume down and it stops it.

I think if this was implemented it would be very usefull to get to full volume and min volume without holding your finger on the button

That's funny... you found something good out of my bug... pretty cool....

I just spent over a week tracking this bug down....

Not a bad idea though, but it would definitely be an option you could change... Someone hits volume up and does not stop it fast enough in their decked out car and blows their windows out
