when is the advanced graphics mode coming back? Because it makes Centrafuse that much better.
I'm going to add a nVidia FX5200 based PCI graphics card to my M10000 board, coz the onboard graphics is seriously lacking.
once I get all the bugs worked out completly with the current feature set... I'm not adding any new major features until everything becomes very stable...

then I will add the enhanced graphics, fade in's, etc... back in...

The skin is set to Onyx WS. All of the hundreds of FONT data elements in both WS Day and WS Night show:
    <FONTNAME>Century Gothic</FONTNAME>
    <FONTSTYLE>Bold</FONTSTYLE>

If I look at the available fonts from the control panel FONTS applet, I do NOT see "Century Gothic", but I see "Century Gothic Bold". If I open WRITE, I see a choice for "Century Gothic", and if I highlight a section of text, I see no difference between "Bold" and "not Bold". (the font itself definitely looks bold)

fwiw, this new box is an M10000, using the on-board video. All drivers are the latest available from the Via website.
That doesn't make much since to me, I really have no idea... Try uninstalling and re-installing it again?

I will have to try that, I use shuffle a lot.

I don't know if anyone else has had this issue, but I know it's not a CF one: Sometimes music is a little choppy when I am playing with the Nav up, which I am assuming has to do with my lack of processor power and/or RAM. I picked up the new Creative X-Fi external USB dongle a while back and tested it in the car and it pretty much fixes that problem because the audio is processed through the USB device not with the onboard audio (I'm assuming this is the reason - correct me if I'm wrong). So, it seems a USB audio device would take the load off your processor/mboard if you have issues with choppy playback...
    Carputer Progress:

    Re-do fabrication of screen [DONE]
Add mini-USB and micro-USB power from M2-ATX [DONE]
    Teardown PC [100%]
Add HDMI > VGA converter [0%]

Sigh... well, I kinda' have to anyway since I also got caught by the "don't reset your CMOS!" issues around the copy/license protection.

fwiw, I switched to the blue skins then back and the problem remained.

I'll live with it for now and re-install when RC4.2 comes out ("soon", right?) since it's such a PITA to deal with.

spotted another bug. the view modes in Nav don't correlate to what shows up on the screen, eg. at one point I clicked to change view to 3D but I noticed that the view mode still said "2D (night)". if i disregard what the actual view mode states on the button and just go by what shows up on the screen it's all good
