Thread: Centrafuse RC4.1 Bugs

Well I had to go back to rc4. RC4.1 wouldn't work on my rear speakers or sub. idk what you did but its weird. I mean the sliders don't work right at all. I move it up it goes up but nothing happens. I mean what ever you did to RC4 made my rear and sub work but now its like it was removed in 4.1 and screwed up in the mixer bad.

Forwarding to the next song takes around 1-2 seconds. In RC4 pressing on the next song button would play the next song imediatly, now it doesn't do anything for 1-2 seconds (doesn't react to key presses, no sound) and then plays the next song.

This bug is there since RC1 and I've pointed it out everytime. This time it got even worse. You don't seem to filter the id3tag fields correctly it seems, because there is a square character behind the album name, in this version more albums are affected. Real showstopper! BTW: Neither foobar2k, itunes, wmp nor Winamp show these characters.
I'll attach an image this time, so I hope it get's noticed!

I notice this in RC4 for some song title tags, but I haven't seen it for any album tags. I figured it was my tags that were in error, but I never investigated.

I can't install 4.1

I got this message "The system administrator configured the policy of your system to forbid this installation ".

I have got this message on 2 different PC.

This is the first time I got it. I have successfully instal RC3.

EDIT: It seems that it is cause by a corrupted installer...

Maybe a bad download? I remember that I had that kind of error before with a different program. The fault was the downloadmanager I was using back then, it simply corrupted the file while downloading it. A redownload using the native download dialog fixed it for me!

I must say... Excellent Project

I am having the same problem as "bns2000".
1. My rear speakers and sub no longer work. Although they were fine the last 1-2 versions.

2. When I tried my HQCT I hear the radio station playing but I can not change the channel or get any readouts. Seems like the USB connection is not setup correct. HQCT does work in RR on the same machine...

3.a. During initial import of my songs (2000), it took more the twice as long.
3.b. When I went into the media selector and chose that directory the initial spool up time(till I could listen to the songs) was 1-2 minutes.
3.c. When I clicked the next button (media player, 2000 songs) with random selected I got a skin freeze of 1-2 minutes.

if that's 2000 tunes in one directory then I'm not suprised

my external apps won't work, buttons are blank. They show in the settings list but I cannot select them in the button actions list.

Did you delete ALL of the directory that CF RC4 was installed in before installing RC4.1? I've had very similar issues when I didn't...
