Im having GPS lock issues now when had non before, have installed driver update too so will roll that back and try again with older driver.
new one... I'd bet this is just a left-over debugging message.
I've been able to get "buttonclik" to show up in the top-line (where a track title would be) a couple of times. It usually happens as I'm coming out of SETTINGS and have clicked in the "close" area a couple of times in a row. It seems that if I click fast enough, then a click event may queue against an unmapped area of the screen and thus generate the "buttonclik" message.

I decided to finally give CF another go with all the praise 4.1 has been getting, and well, I must say nearly all of the core usability issues I couldnt stand before still remain on my system.
Primarily, the USB CD drive is still recognized as a USB drive. With that, if you click on CD it will read all of the media (I thought this was disabled if you turn off read tag info?) and then adds one count to the USB que. Now if you want to go and play that CD after switching back to the regular library, guess what? It is in neither place! You click on the USB icon, and it says there is nothing. You click on the CD icon, and it RELOADS all of the music! Like I mentioned before, I primarily use DVD data discs with MP3'S (a large reason why the car computer is so much nicer than many other audio solutions) and I simply cannot wait for the songs to load... CF takes a few minutes to load and does nothing in the meantime!
Second issue has to do with phonecontrol. Initial setup is still a headache. I had to manually load the phocoadapter file into my ppc6700 for it to work, and once that was done, it still has many weird issues and connectivity problems.
I added a screenshot regarding the one issue I was having with the main menu text as well as many contacts and call history info. The question marks and other random characters appear randomly. I also do not get a consistent battery status indicator. Sometimes it is there, other times it is not.
Last but not least are the XM radio issues. I was once again unable to get XM to work at all initially, and decided to give up seeing that most of the things are still listed in the known issues posts. I assume nothing has changed through the last few releases, but I am still unable to get the channel stations to load or refresh. The loading dialog really doesn't offer any help either. It seems like it is done once you click it, as all it says is "OK".
Other minor things I noticed were increased loading times, and weird popping noises coming from the speakers. The noises are not present in WMP, frodoplayer, or anything else. I tried disabling the EQ to no avail.
I will double check to make sure none of the things I listed are known issues, but either way I am surprised some of them haven't been resolved. To me, Frodoplayer is still my front end of choice until those core usability issues are resolved. Bottomline, my car computer is a music player... the rest of these features are trivial so long as the media player is bullet proof and fast.![]()
sivart: That's a very good post with some good facts. Thanks for sharing, I hope David will look and resolve those issues -- I agree, that should not be working that way!

David,
Album art isn't working properly any more. Very often when a new song comes up the album art from the previous song remains on the screen. Also the little generic speaker icon doesn't come up for songs that don't have album art associated with them. I'll play with it some more to be sure, but I believe it has something to do with songs that don't have album art associated with them; after one of them plays the problems start.
Skinning to go... VisualDesigner2!
Hi David, the street sorting in the navigation is BAD too on Israel map.
The city working good but when I'm trying to find street i got other street and if I'm trying to find it manually I can finds it somewhere inside.
With ver 4.0 it is working properly.
The poi´s are confused in Israel map too..
If you have a poi with subfolder (eg "Gas stations"), it shows not the Gas stations in the subfolder, but the mosques. Same for all entries with subfolder like hotel etc...
Yossi.
Just installed RC4.1 having finally gotten my car back (it was stolen at the end of august) I have missed RC3 and RC4 because of this.
Installer:
Whatever font you use on the installer title screen is not present on my system, so it displays as a very blocky enlarged version of MS Sans Serif instead
The installer window itself is much larger than 480 pixels tall. Even with the taskbar on the right hand side, you need to scroll to use the buttons.
Initial setup:
As stated in the instructions, I uninstalled RC2 and installed RC4.1. Went fine, but it looks like RC2 left settings behind. Some of my preferences were still there, and during the initial setup, the save button did not work, it just left me on the general settings screen. Pressing cancel cause centrafuse to quit with a "you did not complete setup" type error. And just to be annoying it did not unhide the taskbar!. Fixed by uninstalling, deleting the CF directory and reinstalling.
Other than that, so far I have only found the same bugs I have been reporting since 1.6. Blank screen upon resume from hibernate (multiple random mashings of the touchscreen eventually get it back) and audio at full volume upon resume from hibernate.
I'll start using the thing in anger tomorrow, and see how I get on with Destinator etc.
Is this version supposed to be able to control the front/centre/rear volumes separately, even if they don't do the Windows Mixer thing? If so then I have another bug.. it doesn't work on my M-Audio Sonica Theatre 7.1
