That'll do... I remember seeing this too, not sure why I forgot. Thanks!

David, did you perhaps have time to look into the crashing issue we found in the last bugs (RC4) thread?

I noticed today that in the middle of nowhere where surely there is no WLAN available, the connection sign was green (and when it crashed, the wlan manager said that there's no networks available). Soon after that, CF crashed. I'm really starting to think it's related to connectivity. I'll try to disable wlan altogether and see whether it still crashes.
I was quite thrilled to see CF's improved stability and was already thinking that this bug is gone, since there was no crash since I installed it, but today it happened again... so apparently the problem isn't fixed yet.

Though, on the positive note, VBR and cross-fading seems to work now

I cannot reproduce this error in RC4.1...

I never was able to reproduce a crash, but was able to reproduce the connection icon issue and fixed that...

Is a certain visual running? Does anything write to your error log when it crashes?

Umm, I get the "green light when there's no network" under RC 4.1. I reported it as part of a problem with Weather requiring a network connection to be configured.

weather has to have an internet connection because I have to use the weathercodes... you can't just use postal codes, although in the US they do work... weather actually needs a specific code that I use...

this is why you can type in a city name, postal code, whatever and it will then pull up a list which I query on weather.com for the official code...

assuming post code would only work for the US, because they don't work for the rest of the world and I can't do that, so I use the official codes which have to be queried...

Right, I've written that code. I know what you're doing in the background.

so I use the official codes which have to be queried...
Or, you could let someone type in the info and delay the query until you had a network connection. This also kinda ties into what Justin was talking about where Weather doesn't update in the background.

But that aside, I've also seen the bogus "Green Network Indicator" problem.

I have been having a minor, but sometimes annoying problem for the past few the past 2 RCs.. I haven't found anyone else having this problem and didn't see it in the release notes, so I am hoping someone can possibly give a solution.

Whenever I play music from the hard drive or XM randomly it will pause for about 1 sec and start playing from where it left off, except on XM it will start where it left off and then it will catch up to itself by skipping that second it was paused, kinda like a cd skip I guess. It is random, but comes in groups. Music will play for a few few mins, and then I will get a few mins of this pause bug and it will clear for a while.

I have played music files through Window's Media Player and XM through Xtreme PCR and neither has reporduced this. Outside of CF I get uninterrupted play. It also does it wheather or not I have NAV going, and I am not using the phone plugin.

Other than that everything else seems to work great!

Hmm... did you uninstall _and_ manually delete the old folder? I've had similar symptoms when I didn't delete the folder.
