    Greek Map Works Great!!!!
    No Fonts Required!!!
    English/Greeklish Language
I tested these maps and they worked fine... standard D6 compiled NGA Greek maps... the Cities and Streets in the SDK came back more English text, very similiar to a problem I'm having with some Turkish maps...

Their are NGI versions that return Greek characters, there is an issue with the SDK I use with one of the methods for either Getting Cities or Getting Streets which I'm trying to fix...

You might not want to also post download information for commerically sold maps.....

Anything new on the city encoding problem? If I understood well, you have reproduced the problem with the NGI maps and you are pushing DestinatorTechnologies for a solution?

It's sad to not be able to enjoy centrafuse only because the cities are not displayed properly with the NGI greek maps.. (which are the only accurate and updated ones for Greece btw, this is what all the fuss is about)

PS Everything else (favorites, POIs etc) works like a charm in greek in CF1.1..
I don't get it, how everything works fine on their int'l PocketPC version, while it's broken in the SDk...it should be a simple fix..or not?

Sent them another email about it today... Last week they said it should be an easy fix, but I haven't received one yet...

I have told them which function to look in and all...

I will hopefully receive something soon and be able to send it out with my update...

    DestinatorPN_PC!!!

    http://thegreekz.com/forum/showthread.php?p=4047684Hi,

I have just tested the program called DestinatorPN_pc.

Works fine with Greek Destinator 6 map.
Greek keyboard ,Greek town search ,voice, etc complete with Greek speed cameras.

So there must be a solution for Centrafuse to use this program.

Such a shame that Centrafuse version 1.12 still has problems displaying the cities in Greek.
Will this every be fixed ?
The road is long but we are getting there.

Destinator knows about this... They have to finish adding Unicode support to their SDK, this is not a Flux issue...

I tried to get it added into this first release of the D6 SDK, but finally they said we have no orders in for any regions that are Unicode so they would not fix it...

As soon as we place an order for NGI Greek or another Unicode region maps, they will fix it... Until then they won't...

We will order these and get it fixed as soon as we can...

no word yet except that Destinator reproduced the bug and knows it exists... Once we place an order for NGI maps I can have it fixed...
