When I try to insert an address in gps I see this![]()
I have made, as you can see, a Greek Keyboard and I am using the Greek map of NGI V2006.
Please Advise!!!
If you want to create a Greek xml add the following line on top of the xml file:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="windows-1253"?>

Yes, it's just with City. Street Does work, but when I write the address it does not find it.
Did you add any files to the Common/Interface folder in Centrafuse to add support for the Greek language? If so where did you get the files?
The Greek maps I have do not have this problem, but the street names do not come back with Greek characters either. They are Navteq maps and what was provided to Flux by Destinator.
Also the current version of Destinator I have came with support for the 6 languages Centrafuse comes installed with, if you added another language from some other version of Destinator it might not be compatible.
I reported the issue and they are curious how I even got the maps and loaded Destinator into Greek mode.

No David I didn’t add any files to the Common/Interface folder in Centrafuse, except the voice files for Greek language.
The maps I am using come from NGI http://www.ngi.gr/index_en.php, they make Greek maps for Destinator.
If you wish I can sent you the maps, one in Greek and the other greekglish.
Thank you for your quick response![]()

Any news?
I have sent the information over to Destinator...
They say it's impossible to make one version of the application that will work with all the maps and the encoding changes needed for NGI maps would require a different engine to be 100% compatible, so they claim...
I have maps of Greec that are I guess as you put it "greekglish" and those are what I plan to initially sell with Centrafuse until I can get enough business in Greek to afford to purchase the min order for NGI maps and have them create me an NGI engine... Sucks it will have to be a different installer and app to maintain...
I still think they can fix the street encoding and I'm pushing to have it looked into...
