Well me GPS still does not work...

I use Franson GPS gate, and have it set to com port 14

I use this peogram because i use several programs with my GPS-unit.
It works fine with all other programs...

Could you test this?

I have used GPSGate and it does work... I have also tested and made sure it works with Xport3... Try XPort see if that works...

I actually recommend those programs to people having hibernation GPS locking issues....

hmm that is wierd...

Did you use gpsgate 2.0 or 1.10?

i use 1.10

So I would assume 2.0

You might also see if you can push that COM port number down below 10. Windows' _internal_ support can be pretty flaky about dealing with "high" numbered COM ports.

Head for:

• Control Panel
• System
• Hardware
• Device Manager
• Ports
• {your port driver} double click
• Port Settings
• Advanceed
• COM Port Number
