I did have windows media player 10 installed, then I tried 11, then I tried power dvd and all gave me the same error..

Any ideas ?

That shouldn't happen.... Can you playback a DVD in WMP?

All fixed - it was a codec problem. I downloaded the K-lite standard pack and it works 100% now.
