Currently all the traffic section does is load a website that you specify in setup. So find a url that links directly to a traffic map of your location and specify it in setup.

I don't have a cell modem either so my only connection is my wifi before I leave the house.

For UK user's this traffic site is pretty good - you may know of better Trafficnet ones though (requires Macromedia Shockwave to be installed)

If you're after UK ones have a look at MobileWeb in the MediaCar forum as that has a few different URLs and other UK URLs posted by people that you can use in centrafuse.
