Traffic URL's

Currently all the traffic section does is load a website that you specify in setup. So find a url that links directly to a traffic map of your location and specify it in setup.

How would that help me if my system is in the car in the future?

your carPc would have to be connected to the internet somehow. WiFi or a Cell phone modem.
I have brainstormed a little trying to think of a way to make the traffic and weather still open even if there is no internet connection.
the only thing I could think of was trying to set IE to work off line. But that did not help.
I don't have a cell modem either so my only connection is my wifi before I leave the house.

Hopefully it won't be too long before us guys over here in the UK get 3G internet

For UK user's this traffic site is pretty good - you may know of better Trafficnet ones though (requires Macromedia Shockwave to be installed)

If you're after UK ones have a look at MobileWeb in the MediaCar forum as that has a few different URLs and other UK URLs posted by people that you can use in centrafuse.
