Hi guys,
Just to let you know I've posted a gauge plugin for centrafuse over in the centrafuse forum.
It allows you to view the OBDII values on nice gauges and can even give you notifications when gauges reach particular values such as playing a sound when you should change gear etc.
The link is http://forums.fluxmedia.net/showthread.php?t=2364
Please let me know what you think,
Tom Greenwood

WOW!!
Very promising
We were waiting for this for long time.
This is a goog begining...
Thank you.
some ideas here :
What I would love ODBII looks like
Is this just a graphical extension to CF's built in ODBII?
If not, then I'm anxious to try this, once my screen is done. CF doesn't recognize my elm5 scanner for some reason, although the software that came with it (I think freeware) sees/reads it fine.
Phatsacks,
I had that same problem. I bought a USB ELM scanner, thinking it would work with the Gauges plug-in that tgreenwood2 wrote but, it wouldn't work. That's when I figured out that his plug-in uses the data from the OBDII plug-in so, that's gotta work for this to work. The software that came with my interface worked fine but, not the Centrafuse OBDII plug-in.
I went to the configuration for the OBDII plug-in and I saw that it only supports 4 interfaces so, I Goggled and bought an ELM327 USB adapter. Took me a few tries to find one that actually said "ELM327" right on it. When I got it, I discovered that it came with the exact same software so, I was worried. However "The right tool for the right job". The ELM327 scanner works great with the Centrafuse OBDII plug-in and I'm literally in the process of getting my gauge cluster setup using tgreenwood2's plug-in.
This is just too much fun!
P.S. Hey, just noticed...you're from Northern Virginia. Howdy neighbor! I live in the Skyline area of Falls Church. Let me know if you're interested in comparing setups. Would love to see another CarPC installation. I faked my way though mine!

Habious,
I'm out in Springfield myself. I appreciate the info, I too purchased an ELM327, but I'll have to see more about it once I get my car back.
It's in the shop right now getting the LCD (that was broken during the last install from a different installer) put in.
Hoping to have it back with in a few days, and then we can definitely meet up and check the rides out.
I'll update the day/night I get it, if it works with this or not.
does anyone happen to have the original plugin? I would like to use this but can't find it anywhere.
nemoid,
I've got both the plug-in and the designer. Works great.
Bringing up a screen of 5 WORKING gauges on CF really impresses the ladies!!
I'm 98% sure this is the latest version he posted. Try these.
The only issues I've run into are...
1) The gauge layout in the designer doesn't exactly match how it looks in the program (mainly talking about alignment)
2) Couldn't get the needles to be red. If you choose red, you get yellow needles. So, I just left mine white.
Mine look like this...
P.S. Looks like the links to the plug-in on the FluxMedia site still work. See this post (page 2, post #19)
