Any news on this?
is it possible that this also works with RR ??
i have installed DIgital FX 2.0 Transparent
or is this only work with centrafuse
please explain to me what tom tom can do that iguidance (which there is a plugin for centrafuse for) can't do? what is a TT point?
if you are in US or EU than you have some sort of choice but in Australia you stuck with Destinator unless you going to emulate PPC platform. That way you get yourself access to at least 5 other GPS packages. On top of that you can use you normal PPC functionality (Cal, Address book, synch and all other applications)
TomTom can navigate in Europe with new maps. Iguidance can not... I'm not even shure that the extremely old Iguidance european version is supported by that plugin.
And for europe TomTom has lots of forums with free Speedcams and poi databases...
So unless I put my Car on a boat to the US I will not have any use for Iguidance or the great Plugin for Centrafuse.
But TomTom canot work in WinXP without an emulatorBut there is a Centrafuse Plugin for that emulator.... Not as good as Iguidance and too slow for my mini itx... So I'm not able to use TomTom or Iguidance in Centrafuse

Does this solution still work? If so, how do you set it up?
Hey,
Yes this still works.
Goto:
and follow the steps. At the bottom of the download page there is a "Related links" or "What others downloaded" thing....i recommend getting device emulator 3, and also the 6.1.4 profeessional images, however, all the links and steps in the above link will get you on ur way.Code:http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/tomtom/77148-tomtom-how-pocketpc-emulator.html
When downloading efp.msi you will also need the v1emulator thats listed underneath the efp download (on M$ page)
Once done, download the PPC Emualtor (beta 1.1) >> unzip it and put the folder "PPCEmulator" into c:\program files\flux media\centrafuse\plugins\ ... or wherever you installed centrafuse - must be in the plugins folder
Start up centrafuse, assign POCKETPC to a button, then press that button
My only issue is i cant get the emulator to bind correctly with a virtual com port - it is apparently binding but not reading data properly, so cant get a fix using tomtom
I have the latest navigator 7 with latest maps too and all works great
If anyone has an idea on a working gps port splitter / sharer pls let me know. Xport133 etc etc work great but the M$ emultor wont bind properly with virtual com port
Cheers
