If I open Mappoint...not in CF I can obtain a lock. But when I use the plugin, the lock button does not work.

BTW thanks for integrating Mappoint into CF, to me this is one of the most exciting software developments for CF. Since I already had Mappoint 2004 lying around the house, this will be perfect!

Have you config'd the GPS COM Port in the plugin's settings?
Have only ever run w/ one type of GPS receiver, so I have not tested that this works w/ all GPS receivers.
(I have a new one coming in the mail in the next few days)
What GPS receiver are you using?

Ditto over here here... Didn't you mention in another thread that you broke the GPS code at .7.03?

And there's also an issue with you not showing virtual com ports - like those that come from Xport.

My full MapPoint install works fine with my GPS receiver on either the virtual or physical COM ports. CFMapPoint 7.03+ doesn't.

Is this problem going to be solved or am I just wasting my time?

It looks like Paul released a debug version (0.7.05) overnight. Have you tried it?

I'll be loading it this morning...
