I will need to modify the skin, especially if you will add buttons and change the XML structure.

Release it first, and then I will modify/post the adapted NEXUS skin.

Djerik, it seems to me that one thing CF is missing is a searchable phone number list based on outlook contacts. Since you have experience in accessing Outlook data, I'm interested in getting your thoughts on how difficult that would be to implement.

I could then create an SDK call that takes a phone number and dials the number if Phone is setup and working. This would allow you to call contacts directly from your outlook and not just your phones phonebook...

David, I'll probably not be using Phone because (1) My car comes with Bluetooth/voice dialing built in, and (2) Phoco, through no fault of its own, conflicts with other stuff I've got going on. I'm just looking for an easy way to find and display phone numbers using a touchscreen. I do have Outlook, which embeds pretty well with CF, loaded on the carputer and can find numbers directly from my Outlook contacts folder, but that approach isn't touchscreen friendly.

Accessing Outlook can be done through the Microsoft MAPI, and once you get the grab of it, it is not that difficult. I think this link is a good point to start at:

Accessing your outlook contacts can be done like this:

Also the Outlook Reference could be helpfull http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

Wow Bojan, you really got something going now!

Integration with outlook for the calendar + the phone number thing (with call + sms button) + something to do email (outlook link so you can use exchange, imap, pop3, ...) and we finally have a front-end with complete PIM functionality!
