I have only been a member here for less than 6 months and have learned a great deal. I only wanted to contribute back to that community. For example: To eliminate that annoying scrolling volume label increase the value of the skin/globalnav/labels/volume/width setting by an increment of 20 (on mine I went from 90 to 110) and voila a stable volume label from 0-100%.

From now on I will continue to make recommendations and in my free time try to create my own skins to share with the community.

Dude, no need to apologize. We're all here having fun and trying to help each other out. I really appreciate your efforts, and you've definitely not been a nuisance. I hate to have you walk away. I'd much prefer we collaborate and keep in sync, because I can definitely use the help and the community will surely appreciate that 2 minds are better than one. The skin.xml needs an overall review/tweaking, the phone and radio pages need finished, and I need to add the car logo pages, which is very time-consuming. Plus, I've been wanting to 'clone' Feb's "Brushed Aluminum" skin too using the same basic layout. So you see... there's a lot do!

Let's talk offline about how we can keep things bundled to make it easier for the users. I'll PM you.

Yes I mean the white part. Like the DVD, GPS icons. They were better defined and more clear before. IMHO now they look kind of washed out. Don't you think?

OK, for this, I haven't yet included it in the full package, but I posted a "fixed" skin.xml for Stretched 800x600 yesterday that should take care of it, or at least be closer.

UPDATE: I checked and DID put the wrong values in the skin.xml for the radio "number" buttons and tuning controls. I'll have it fixed shortly.

UPDATE: The hopefully-right skin.xml file is uploaded. I've also included this skin.xml in the full 800x600 package and uploaded it too. Let me know.

New xml works like a charm.

Just rename the current main_empty.jpg file in the /screens folder to create a backup, then copy this file over it. Give it a shot and let me know.

As for the other car logos, the 848x480 ones seem to work "okay", but the 800x600's need to be shrunk up a bit so they aren't covered by the main menu hotspots. I'll be tweaking them all and adding more logos this weekend. Any other requests so I can prioritize?

I want to do an "orange" for myself, actually, so I'll be building one this weekend. Tho the "orange" I'm doing (to match the Miata dash) is kind of a reddish-orange, very similar to the red-orange glow of a cigarette cherry.

I can do a different shade if you have the HEX code of the orange you're looking for... or you can wait and see if the one I make works.
