I agree, while driving, when you have to look down for a split-second to adjust the volume, it's better to have the "% volume" text in-focus, rather than having to move your eyes to the top of the screen. After reading some of the changes coming, I've made some mods so I can more easily do 848x480 and "stretched 800x600" without too much hassle. I'm thinking if instead of "Volume XX%", I had JUST "XX%" to work with, I could squeeze it between the MUTE and PREV buttons in the new skin. It would look something like this...

Where else would you like to see it? Remember that text fonts, colors, size and location can all be changed via the skin.xml file, unless you want a graphic behind it or something.

I think that looks great as a solution, easy to read and leaves space for the other buttons and not so cluttered.

is there any chance of getting the PSD files once you have finished, i want to alter the background to give it a caron fibre feel, as i have trimmed my car in carbon fibre.

Great skin! Even if I'm still having a problem with it over writing the button images on the left with the words for the buttons...

Stupid question... Why is it that none of the CF skins include a 'stop' button?

I know... I'm off to search for the answer...

There is no need for a stop button... if you press the play button during playback, it acts just like a pause-button... and that is exactly the behaviour you would expect from a stop-button ;-)

Not really. If you press a stop button, and then play, it will being playing at the beginning of the song.

Works just like all car stereos... They don't have stop buttons... I also agree with showing the pause icon, but its currently a limitation of my skin, which only has off and down states for each page... So no where to store the pause icon..."

Yeh. But SOME radios do have stop buttons. Anyway, its not a big deal for me.
