Brushed Aluminum for Centrafuse

Finally, here it is. Brushed Aluminum.

"Black & White" 848x480

"Black & White" Stretched 800x600

PS. The skin.xml file is essentially the same as that for BrushedMetal, except I changed all the fonts to "black/#000000". Doing so, I just now noticed that the OSK background and font now are BOTH black. For now, just change one or the other yourself in the OSK section. I'll post a fix later on.

i just tried this and attached a pic of what it looks like. theres text and icons on the left sides. any ideas? thanks

the text on top of the icons is too hard to read... especially when you're driving and you want to see what it is in a quick glance..

other than that, looks great.

I think that's a bug in CF. Sometimes, when you load up a new skin, the "text" on the global nav buttons comes back. You shouldn't see any text, as it's turned off in the skin.xml file... you should only see the icons.

Try exiting CF and restarting it. That usually does the trick.

Besides the original skin this is my favorite Centrafuse skin to date. Will be trying it out tommorow.

It doesn't have the destinator skins done and I have attached a modified copy of the skin.xml to fix the phone support. I only changed the settings for the phone so you can replace the original skin.xml with this one. OBTW, I did change the OSK, too.

Everything except, as the next post points out, Destinator. I didn't know this used a seperate skin either. I'll check it out.

Hey, GizmoQ, thanks for doing the phone section in the XML. That helps tremendously and I'm sure many others will appreciate it too. I'll bundle it into the download packages this afternoon.
