Ok thnaks for the info David. I will try to finish the skin in the next few days but it is designed for use with my custom controller (2 joystick-encoders) so it is missing a couple of buttons needed for ts-only use (i.e. scroll buttons for lists, play/pause, ...). Maybe I will make a ts version later but got to check how much I have to change first.
There is a metric destinator .ini file.
check this thread: http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/cf-bug-reports/81299-xle-rc1-metric-gps.html
No, I thought about using an I-Pac but then I just bought a cheap USB-keyboard for a few bucks and took out the controller. The encoders are from Grayhill and the translation from the encoders AB-output to keystrokes is done by a self-made logic-board.
Oh, OK. I actually made the Macintosh I-PAC encoder Programming Utility. :)
Interesting... I would have just used my old taken-apart gravis joypad and then had girder translate to keystrokes :)
I actually when the lazy route with that particular device and just bough a griffin powermate and integrated it into my center console where my ash-tray used to be.
any news for the skin release?
can i make a porting for roadrunner based on your work predator1?
Sry for keeping you waiting, the main changes for rc2 are finished and I’ve the skin in use since a few days for testing. it isn't fully finished and there are still a couple of dialogs in the oem (onyx) style like number pad and time-settings but they should be rarely seen anyway. I will upload the skin later as it is right now, useable (with keyboard controller) but not 100% finished.
@marsk8er: feel free to use the graphics for your rr-skin.
edit: here it is, copy the single skins in the skin-folders of the main-app / plugins and the included font to the windows font dir.
MMI for RC2
