Well, I guess the area changes in a 4:3 skin, but the image isn't 4:3. I cropped your 4:3 logo and I think it looks good now, though I beleive it is being resized slightly. The image ended up being 520x210.
Attached pics:
1 - your orignial image - looks squished
2 - your 4:3 image - thinned out
3 - my cropped 520x210 image - Looks pretty good, I may play around with the dimensions a little more to get it exactly right
Thanks for the originals
EDIT: logoEX1 and logoEX2 are switched

Make your canvas about 6"x3"
Thats what I found works best anyway.

Hmmm... 520x210 is 52:21 or 2.48. 4:3 is 1.33. That is a big difference.Originally Posted by donde

Glad you found the size that works though.
Is anyone else having problems with a squished image?
I get the logo from here, and take it into Photoshop.Originally Posted by Cheekz185
I use the magic wand tool to select the white area around it, and then press delete. Then, I just add a few layer styles to it. Finally, File > "Save For Web" > "PNG 24".
