Thread: blue nite for 1.5

I'm also playing with a green one....

EDIT:O.K., heres a few to check out.... none of them are perfect & I do need to tweek alot of what's here... but usable ....

I just started to do font colors & some of these are changed & some aren't.... I also have to finish assembling others & posting them.....

consider each of these beta's & feedback of changes & font colors are welcome.... these aren't even renamed for final distribution.... check them out & let me know what you think and what needs to be changed

this ones got an enlarged media view(slightly) and 10 lines of songs per screen rather than just 6...

Black text would probably do better on the green one. Good job, so far, though!

The first one looks like a great night skin the light/blue white is blinding.

the blue isn't done yet.... I'm going to use it for night too but it needs tweaking & finishing.... I'll have it up soon...

just gotta add the cf is awsome for odd resolutions.... it doesn't distort the text & look all warped..... great for my sideways screen.... so far it's the best display on my screen.... it helps that this skin doesn't have any circular objects to elongate.... sqares & rectangles streach well

I just got photoshop 7.0..... moddifying an existing skin is easy...... it's creating one from scratch or major modifications that are the hard part..... I'm going to keep playing....... it does take a lot of time.... there are a lot of screens to modify in a skin.... photoshop has a recording macro type function that I want to play with.... can record all the mods to an existing screen then easily apply them to the other screens.... skinning is fun

I started to do a brushed metal using aspects from the 1.4 skin.... THAT'S time consuming, cut, crop & overlay..... but I'll get it done......

I also want to try a hand at building the graphics from scratch.... as long as it's just graphic mods it's not that difficult... just have to stay within the same borders really..... that's my limitations at the moment.... I want to learn full building skills.... maybe someday.....
