David,
I knyou're saying. However, in my experience, getting the slider to an exact spot (or roughly in the area) is a little too difficult with a touchscreen. It takes me4 clicks or so to get it right, but it also requires me to look at it rather constantly until I get it to the right spot.
Now, with + and - indicators, I would only have to look ONCE to see where the + or - button is, and then take my eyes off the screen while I tap on it a few times. One would know approximately how many taps it would take to increase by a certain percent. So, Im not saying it will necessarily take less amount of clicks, but it will definitely require less of our attention on the screen.
Not high priority, but it is a good usability suggestion IMHO.

Yes, but some of us have fat fingers (well, at least I do).. the interface as mrsony6 suggested would provide precision.

Now that I understand what he's saying I like the idea too. It always takes multiple taps on the slider to get it just right and can be rather frustrating. + and - buttons would be a good addition.
I think exactly what "justintime" and "tj!2k4" said!!!!
It works also without!
But during driving it is impossible to set te sliders on the right place, also with thin fingers! And the big firms like Pioneer have to put the + and- (in combine with touch screen) to praktice because the safty!

It would also be nice if CF retained the EQ settings when you exit CF. Maybe it's supposed to, but mine doesn't. The EQ settings are always set to the default (flat) when I restart CF.
I'm using CF 1.4 and the EQ is maintained across restarts, hibernates, etc.Originally Posted by kbreeden
