Polaris for Centrafuse
This is a new skin that is reminiscent of the Windows Vista and Windows Media Player 11 GUI. The interface was made in Photoshop using only layer styles and shapes. It is NOT cut and paste screenshots.
Some of the main features are:
So far, all I've got are these views, so I'm still open to suggestions.
- Always-up menu
- Shows 9 songs in the list view
- Good contrast for daytime
- Displays long song titles well
- OSK with all the standard keys
On-screen Keyboard (OSK)

Nice lookin skin
I'm not sure I understand the always up navi - I don't see it now?
Where's the random/repeat button?
and don't make me have to have that windows logo on my front end!
Looks very visible and easy to use (nice icons btw), keep up the good work. Will this be released for CF 1.6?
Thanks for the crits, guys.
I've updated the first post with a new version.
I added a random button and the volume display. The status bar at the top is a little taller now, and I also changed the Media Manager icon to something depicting media instead of Windows.
@ donde - I meant "always-up menu" rather than navigation as in GPS. In the new default 1.6 skin, the menu will effectively be a drop down, and some members had expressed that they wanted a one click solution.
I really like the skin! Also fits in well with the "new look of cf" so when that does happen. I hope you contiune to work on it and get it out!
I would only suggest increasing the button sizes on the bottom and spreading them out some. They look a little close for clumsy fingers to it. You are also forgetting the jump 5 sec forward and back.
Yea I would agree with getting rid of that windows logo.

I was trying to not have any unneccessary buttons. Do you guys use those buttons? You are also forgetting the jump 5 sec forward and back.
I've updated the first post with a new image. The buttons are farther apart and a bit lighter.
What is the die in the lower right hand corner for?
