Hey you don't have to be mean about, if thats something you don't like then don't post, it was just a suggestion and some on this post like the idea.

I think it's a good idea.

Animation would be useful, for instance, if you pause music and the " || " is blinking, confirming pause. I'm sure I could think of a bunch more uses for animation, but I'm off to bed.

are animated PNGs standardized yet? I thought one had to just cycle through layers...

MNG is the format for animated PNGs. Higher quality than GIFs. No licencing problems, etc.
