Nexus Skin for iGuidance 3.0

any plans to skin ig4? i tried copying all your bitmaps out of ig3 and importing them into ig4 via reshack, but for some reason only 161 files get updated instead of all 197 (no error message). ig4 does have more bitmaps than ig3 overall, but the vast majority of them seem to correspond to the same number from ig3 (i.e. the u-turn icon is bitmap_59 in both ig3 and ig4). however, i cant figure out why they are not all importing back into ig4 with reshack, and thus im getting mixed menus with some buttons looking like your nexus skin and other ones looking like the original iguidance ones. any ideas? i can PM you with the .exe if you are interested.

also, your themi.ini still works exactly the same for ig4, which is good news, and removing the menu and zoom buttons was also exactly the same.

I have not tried to update ig4... I imagine all the NUMBERS on the bitmap resources are vastly different, right? You'd have to match them up.

what do you mean by the numbers on the bitmap resources? are you referring to the numbers listed inside reshack? i assume those would be the same as the filename for the bitmaps that are exported.

I sure hope someone can make a bigger skin. I'm going to end up wrapping my car around a tree trying to hit those tiny buttons.

are you sure you're using the UMPC version? the buttons are plenty big...

I never thought about it. I guess I have been using the regular version, but I like the maps and resolution. Doesn't the UMPC version have the over sized map display as well. I want the "have your cake and eat it too" version. Are there other advantages?

dude just read the first post in this thread. the nexus patch with the included theme.ini makes the umpc version wayyyy better.

I have iguidance 2.1.2 for europe...will it work at all with this skin...as the tiny buttons are awful...but everything else is perfect?

Also, Love the skin

Hey guys... I have made a Nexus skin mod for iGuidance v 4.0. Unfortunately I only made the Amber (orange) version, but if anyone is interested I can post a patcher or something...
