    Wanted: itx/micro-atx & 5-7” lcd, dauphin keyboard & gps unit

    Hey folks, I’m about to buy some new stuff from www.pricewatch.com or ebay, but figured I would check to see if anyone here was selling first. Here is the stuff I’m going to be getting

    - Itx/micro-atx: 933mhz If itx, equal to or greater then that if micro-atx
    - RCA 5” to 7” lcd. If I get an in-dash fold out unit, I have to replace my 2 din radio head unit... and Im not ready to do that quite yet. so I’m thinking of getting a cheaper standalone rca lcd just to see how well I can see things on an rca lcd.
    - dauphin keyboard, Ideally I’m looking for something smaller, but for now, the smallest I can find is the dauphin.
    - Gps unit, one of those cheap serial ones that work with copilot

    So, I’m not to enthusiastic about paypaling $ to someone far away that I don’t know, so I would like to buy from someone who is either an established member here, or lives close to me (palo alto, california, usa)

    get a rand Mcnally serial off of ebay (top around$75)...dauphin off of ebay
    here

    But I have the wireless version of the daupin, it's a little bigger, but has save me a bunch of trouble....just slide it under the seat went no in use here

    Here is a 7" Standalone LCD that is the same as TM-70L and you can get it with a Touch Kit.

    Heh, thanks for the replys folks

    bosstone74: yeah, ebays where I'll be looking next, just thought I would look here first in case somone was upgrading.

    digitalww: I know you are the guy to talk to about new lcds Im waiting for the day I can get one of those 7" + touchscreens...

    The thing is, im thinking of getting a used, junky 5" to start off with.. because when I get an lcd worth keeping, Im gonna want o get an in dash, (no real place to mount an lcd in my car.)

    To get an in dash, I got to replace my 2 din infinity sound, with a 1 din, and buying a 1 din radio + a in dash lcd is gonna cost a few $

    Guess if no one is selling an old 5"-7", I'll stick with my old datalux till I can buy one of those nice in-dash 7" touchscreen lcds.


    BTW: Where in Illinios do you live digialww? I used to live in Oak Park. spent some time at urbana as well.
