The NX-12 is a high-performance Wireless USB Network Adapter. It delivers 11Mbps (Megabits per second), making the NX-12 the fastest Wireless Network Adapter on the market today. The USB interface makes the NX-12 easy to install and use. The NX-12 wireless adapter allows you to share hard disk drives, DVD/CD-ROM drives, Zip drives, printers and provides shared access to an analog, Cable, or DSL modem for Internet access.

Based on the IEEE 802.11b standards insures interoperability in multi-vendor environments. Designed for desktop PCs and Laptops with USB support. Connects to other computers up to 100 meters away indoors and 300 meters away outdoors!

The network adapter is fully mobile and seamlessly roams from access point to access point. The NETLUX NX-12 will connect point to point (Ad Hoc) or it can use an access point (Infrastructure Mode) to extend the reach of its communications capability.

In addition the NX-12 uses a 64/128-bit WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy) Encryption for a secure network connection. It includes an internal non-detachable diversity patch antenna and one built-in green LED indicator for power, network link and activity.

The wireless adapter will operate in 2.4 GHz Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum (DSSS) for wireless networks in the home or office environment. The NX-12 is compatible with Windows 95 OSR2, 98, ME, 2000, XP and other popular operating systems.
