Yeah that is a good idea, point them to this thread. Maybe then they can give us an answer. IF they don't know we are here, then they won't answer!!

I just called Kris up. He's a real nice guy and even told me he still needs to reply to Skipperman's lastest email.

He knows that you guys are all concerned but he says he doesnt even have them yet. He told me he has 100 coming in on his pilot run and has reserved 30 of them for this group buy. He told me he will definitely be ready within 3 weeks and was even saying there are few extra features regarding standyby mode. Apparantly all of them are spoken for in the first run that we are in so we'll be one of the first to have them. Also i talked to him about warranty especially since were the first batch and he told me that it comes with a 3 yr warranty where we pay to ship it to him and he pays to ship it back.

The dimensions he gave me were 170mm x 78mm and he said that about 3/4 of an inch in height should give it good clearance. Also they wont come in a case.

Again he understands that you guys are concerned and he realised that he made a mistake in announcing it before he even had it. After talking to him im convinced i want one so if you guys can wait lets keep the deal alive and not bail out.

Also i had no trouble calling him up so if youre really worried call him up. He picked up immedeately. I just used my cell since i get free LD. Ya gotta understand its not a huge operation.

$125 each at a bulk purchase of 25 seems like a really good deal.

    No Problem.

Hopefully that will calm the masses down some.

I actually called to ask a few questions about the 150 watt since it seemed that the group deal was going down hill but then i started asking about prices and mentioned that im included in the group deal. Thats when he started giving me all the info. A real nice guy...we talked for about 15 minutes. I was even surprised he was going to be there on a friday at 6:00pm, but then i guess its 3pm for him over in CA.

Let me correct what i was told.

It's $125 for the PSU each at a bulk price.
Then another $25 to ship it to the person who we are going to entrust (I'm assuming skipperman) and then whatever it costs to ship it from skipperman to you. Also im not sure if skipperman wanted to get something out of it for all his troubles.

So im assuming 135-140 for it.

And this is for the 90 WATT.

    questions:
what are you guys going to do with it placement wise? it comes with no case housing so what the heck are you supposed to do? cant just leave it exposed

    also
would a duron 1.1, matx board, onboard video, usb stuff and a 60gb hard drive be able to run on 90w?

He said you can bolt it to your case.

I was going to build a custom case so i would make room for it and just screw it to the case. If you are using a premade case then i would say find some unused screw holes on the metal mount for your motherboard and see if you can put it there.
