I finally got the cables and connected my setup. I was pretty amazed at the viewing angle (nice and wide...woohoo), as well as the brightness. As it turns out, though, only one of the two LCD's worked. The file I made up is correct. I'll post some pics soon.

Hey sinnerg, that inverter uses a 0-2.5V trim for the brightness control but your controller board provides 0-5V. Have you tested these functions to see how they work and/or did you add a resistor to drop the voltage. Also, did you just buy the hirose connectors from the place you mentioned and then just made the cables with ribbon wire?

I was looking at that last night....the differences in the input voltage to the inverter, and will put together either a pair of same valued resistors or a potentiometer to drop it down to 2.5V. Although the 5V input from the controller to the inverter lit up the backlights OK, I don't want to end up frying the inverter. This could explain why I am getting a 'flicker.' I initially thought it was a refresh rate problem, but it could be the input voltage to the inverter. We'll see.

As for the cables, I had them completely made. When I got them, it was nothing more than plug and play. Personally, I would recommend going to this company for the cables. It's your choice. Send them the file I posted earlier for a quote. It has both the controller->inverter cable and the controller->LCD cable in the file. But this is for my Dicon controller. If anyone else plans on using a different controller, you'll have to do some research for your own setup.

Although these don't give you the 'full effect,' it's something to compare to. These are a few pics...............
