For Sale: complete LCD, dc-dc PSU, mobo (Australia)
Okay, i havent been here in a while, but it has come time to sell my petrol drinking fairlane and upgrade to something faster.
as i dont think my system will add a whole lot of value to the car, ive desided to sell it. He's some of the stuff i have;
8.4 inch 16bit Dennis K touchscreen LCD with one Allan's datalux controllers. (i'll get model numbers and stuff tomorrow)
A Jeff Muska PSU with Mastero shutdown controller
Epia c800 (i think) 800mhz tiny mobo, with stacks onboard
hmmmm what else,
I also have a sony mzr90 minidisc player, works fine to the best of my knowledge, but will test it more tomorrow, it doesnt have a rechargable battery, but it does have the add-on AA battery holder, as well as optical cable, 1 black MD, AC cord etc.
So i just thought id let people know what i have, ill put up more info tomorrow, open to offers, or i'll set some prices and see how we go from there,
and id prefer aussie buyers, but will consider shipping if the price is right
very interested how much are looking for each item or even if a good price i will take the lot
ok, i also have a 60 gig harddrive which i forgot about
and i was thinking maybe $600 Aus for the lot, included hard drive and everything else listed
actually the more i think about it, the more i would like to sell it as a lot, so if anyone wants to make an offer on all of it, i would surely consider it.
the lcd has everything it needs to run, including bl inverter, professionally made hirose cable, a long cable for vga to the controller (long enought to streach the lenght of my fairlane), tft controller, touch overlay, touch controller, serial cable for touch screen, etc.
the 60 gig harddrive was only used in the car for testing purposes, before i relised it was overkill, so i was never used while driving.
the stick of ram, well its just a stick of ram, SDRAM 256MB single sided.
dc-dc power supply. this was made by Jeff Muska, and is a very small little unit, anyone who has been here a while is probably familiar with them. I had enough juice to power my system (everything listed here) and a 30cm neon light. This also has a shutdown controller attached to it (which i never got around to hooking up) but Masereo built it and Jeff installed it and told me it all works fine, and both those blokes have good reps around this board, so i beleave there would be no problems with it.
Epia Mobo 800mhz, now anyone that doesnt know this mobo really should. The thing is tiny and practically build for cars. Sound, Video, composite, digital sound (never used) outputs, and is just a great little mother board. Did i mention it's extremly small?
Also ill chuck in my minidisc player/recorder. I really loved this thing when i was in high school when i had to walk 3km to get there, but now i dont have much of a use for it anymore. I also lost the rechagable battery, and due to the fact i dont use it much, never got around to buying a new one. The headphone remote was also killed in a tragic bicycle accident, so i dont have that either. But i do have the unit, the AA battery adapter, Sony MD cloth bag, optical cable, and a few other recording cables.
I also have lying around somewhere my last phone, it was a Samsung g-somthing 800 if i remember properly. I went through the wars, dont know if its fixable or not, but its a bit scrached up, (i think it turns on, ill have to check that) the problem i had was i never got reception, as the ariel was killed by a crazy girlfriend. But it was a pretty good phone, not top of the line right now, but if you could fix it it might be a good backup phone or something. I beleive it was one of the first Sansugs with voice dialing.
Okay, until further notice, thats all i have, please, give that I may grow
PS- pics coming when i get my hands on a digital camera
i think i better bump this one up
how much for the psu and shutdown controller? that works with winxp (the shutdown controller), right?
the shutdown controller is a circuit that acts independently, so it doesnt use soft ware, so it can be used with any OS,
give me an offer, but remember, im in australia, so you will have to consider postage
Well from what I've found.. the shutdown controller costed around $33? But I can't find how much the PSU is/was... tell me what you paid for it and I'll make an offer..
I'll take the lot for 450 plus postage
Providing everything is in good nic.
I live in QLD
nah, i was looking for a little more then that, maybe $600 id consider it. Im in no real rush to sell anything so i'll hold off, and if i dont sell
everything here, ill put it on ebay, but i figured people here helped me get and set everything up, so i thought id offer stuff here first.
and after just seeing LESLIEx317537 post, who is selling the same screen (he also help find the serial cable needed for the
touchscreen) he is selling his for $300 US, granted mine may need 3 or 4 cables soldered, which anyone can do, but i say $350 Aus for
my screen, i think this is a more then reasonable price.
MD player/recorder - $90
PSU and Shutdown controller - $100 (because im not sure how to get the shutdown controller to work, but if the buyer emails mastero,
he will be able to tell you)
LCD including cable and all controllers (needs some assembling)
60 gig seagate HD - $100
256MB SDRAM - $30
Epia 800mhz Mobo and cpu - $160 (costs $225 new)
And the phone, if someone wants to try and fix it, you can have it for $25
All the above prices are in Australian dollars, and do not include postage
