Hey Mastero,
Nice work on the PSU. Did you use any specific program to design the unit? If, by any chance you used Protel, could you send me the .ddb or the .sch file? I can get the board made by a friend locally but their etching machine is controlled by Protel somehow. Even a schematic diagram would be great, here or to my e-mail.
Much appreciated.![]()

Epia M working with a Sproggy like PS
Hello, ufff is very expensive. The maxims is free in maxim-ic.com. I bought my power supply and It cost 30€ to me. I fixed to the problem of the 12v with a T6 and lm2587-12 so that it provides 12V constantly or it is the stopped car or with the motor in march. I continue thinking that 75$ is very expensive. It is my point of view, I have been spent less and everything comes assembled from factory. Hasta luego.
I used a sproggy to sucessfully power a Via Epia 800. They work great together. Don't try to run the EPIA M boards though. They take too much power.
I use a Sproggy with the Via Epia 800.
Was running using Mpxplay in Dos, with 40x4 lcd with no problems.
Have just installed a 6.4 tft LCD a now running Windows98SE, When starting the car windows locked up for a short time then runs for 5-6 sec then lock for good.
Don't know what the problem is, will run more tests but I don't think it is the Sproggy.
Any thoughts.
All the Kits have been mailed. first batch completed.
Second batch shall take some time..
Tracking number has been mailed to everyone..
Cheers and Good luck

I've done a scehamtic in Protel for the sproggy mk3 which you can have if you like. However, I don't guarantee it's accurate - you prolly want to check it thoroughly before committing it to copper!Originally Posted by Kalavera
Also I haven't done any layout, coz I generated the schematic from the PCB, so you'd have to do that bit & check the footprints etc yourself.
Cheers blowback,
That'd be a great help. I'll pm you my email addy co you can send it to me yhen you can.
Thanks in advance!
