Exclamation Slimeline HDD -> IDE Adapter HELP!!

How the heck does this thing work??

My slimeline HDD has 44 pin holes and then 4 other pins to the side.

The adapter has the small end with 44 pins and plugs right in, but it says "pin1 (to HDD)".

The other end has 40 larger pins for normal IDE, but the IDE cable has 1 center pinhole blocked (normal IDE). Do I need to break that pin off from the adapter so it fits or am I smoking crack?!?!??!

    WTF?!?!

    HELP!!

    Yup

Not sure how this one works. I got different IDE adapter that apparently does the same thing from mini-box.com (it was actually given to me because I went to their shop when I picked up my PW-70) so if you can't figure out this adapter theirs is ten bucks. It beats cutting off pins or something. Good Luck

    This was $9.99 too... UFCK!

I've looked at the pinning and it does seem that this adapter simply has one pin and nothing hooked up to the other end of the pin, so it would seem that I can safely clip this pin off and be good to go...

    Crap, it's just scaring me...
