I am seriously interested in this group buy but just need to check some bank sums before I can give you the definite go ahead.
Unfortunately I would be another UK buyer...
However a question to SHAM, DIVADIOW and CCSNET - could we not just combine shipping to save on the fee? I would be prepared to organise this if anyone else would like to combine. My only issue is that we will probably still get stung by duty/tax and USPS charges...
I may have another solution though... my parents live in New York and so what we could do is get a group delivery to their address in the USA, get them to bring it over (FREE) when they fly back for Christmas (without any duty, tax or expensive shipping charge) and then I forward the screens to your respective addresses.
(Of course I am going to need some serious persuassion skills with my parents! How do you reckon the screens would hold up if they were put in a clothes bag on the main hold of the plane?)
although lilliput's site doesn't say so, i do believe that this does have the hitachi panel. my only source for detailed info is armen at digitalww
tim, I would be happy to help out with UK shipping in whatever way I can, If you're parents are over here for xmas, then it'll even be better for those other UKers. Are you talking like a duffle bag or a suitcase? Otherwise I can just get a big cardboard box with foam peanuts and put all of those screens in. Can you parents take another item or have they filled their luggage quota?
ok I got pricing for the indash 7" RCA but it's NOT lilliput. I'm getting more info about it this coming week. All i know right now is that it's 7" RCA indash. the motorized model is $300USD and the nonmotorized is $200. I will post info as soon as I get it

I was looking at lilliput website and looks like they changed the model number again to 619GL-70NP(XGA) ??
