Here's my problem...I have a motherboard with an AMD K6 400Mhz processor in it, but the mtoherboard doesn't support going into hibernation when I push the power button. I want to use a shutdown controller in my car, and I can't with this mobo. So I'm looking for any cheap Socket 7 motherboard, ATX form factor, that can go into hibernation upon pushing the power button. Thanks.
I don't know if the mob's BIOS themselves support a hibernation feature, but I use WinXp and when you go to screen saver settings --> power settings, you can make it so that upon hitting the power-up button, the puter will hibernate. That's what I did.
If you are still looking for Socket7 boards, I have quite a few. I'll look at them when I get home and post here if they will hibernate...
