Lightbulb My DWW-7VGA for sale on eBay

If anyone is interested, I'm selling my new DWW-7VGA (VGA Touch-Screen) on eBay. $99 starting bid, no reserve price.

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=3061837249

This DWW-7VGA is new and still boxed (only tested by me, screen & LCD are 100% working) *Never installed in Car*

    Why am I selling this?...

3 days before my screen arrived from DWW, my car was broken into -everything stolen (Alpine system, all my tools etc). Big mess So I'm going back to the basic stock stereo, and I'll not be installing the Car PC as planned.

Anyway, the DWW-7VGA is really great and would be perfect for a Car PC system.

    Where'd you get it?

    Matt:

Where'd you get that unit? I can only find that unit one place on the net, and he NEVER has it in stock!!! I had questions about the VGA on it. Is it true VGA, or is it NTSC/PAL only. The docs are unclear about it.

    Thanks!
    Tom

mofox I've been looking for that screen so bad! Same question: Where did you get it? At DWW are out of stock!!! I'll place a bid, but if it gets very expensive I could not afford it. If the highest bidder doesn't contact with you, it could be possible to be the first in the queue? We could negotiate, I'm from Spain, and it's really hard to find a VGA-DIN-Touchscreen here...

    Thanks!

    Hi Tom

I got your email but I might as well answer it here. DWW-7VGA is my very own creation. Basically it is Gain 7" VGA + Touchscreen monitor in a TM-701L shell. As you know from your search nobody makes a VGA In-dash LCD and DigitalWW is the First. The monitor is a non-motorized in-dash (Din) VGA LCD with touch screen and 2 video inputs. Final product (DWW-7VGA) comes fully assembled and ready for use. I already sold a first batch of these monitors and I got nothing but good feedback. Everybody loves this monitor and for the exception of a long wait everybody is happy. I am sure that if DWW-7VGA owners are reading this, they will be able to tell you them selves.

I will make more of these monitors and will start taking orders in the first days of December. I was waiting to see if Gain would finally release their motorized version but they are not and I know that there are a lot of people that need one. Also I just found out that I would be able to get more in-dash housings, which is a very important part.

Email me if you have any more questions or would like to order one (when available)

    Armen

    Hi Tom,

I got it from DWW, I just had wait a while like everyone else. I'm happy to confirm what Armen says ...yes it is great! For just for a few hours, I tested it with my Windows XP Mini-PC (powered from 12V on the PC's PSU). The screen is bright and clear, excellent contrast and color. The touch screen interface is awesome! And the drivers worked without issue.

    I can 100% recommend the DWW-7VGA.

Thanks to both you and Armen for clearing that up. I spent a couple hours on the net trying to track down the OEM of that device. Now I know that Armen makes them himself. Crafty dogger!! I think I'll bid on your's and if I don't win, I'll order one and wait for Armen to build them.

    THX!
