    does the touchpad have drivers for winxp? Are they needed for the buttons on the side?

    The latest drivers offer full XP support. The buttons on the side make it what it is. It has gesture recognition. So you can hit the gesture button and then "draw" something on the pad and apply that drawing to launch an app, close a window, etc.

    I still have mine and plan on fiberglassing it into the center console someday.

    I'm having problems with my touchscreen and bought an old alps model to try in my car....we'll see what happens. CAn you give me the dimensions on this incase it will fit better?
