what is your email address? The files are too big to post here!Originally Posted by robiewp
Yea, I noticed that on the PDF Marge sent me. I think I can get along with a PIII in there. To do what I want to do right away, it will be plenty of a machine just as it is. It's an ELO controller right? Maybe we could get a PCI version of it? can you post some pics once you've got it loaded and booted?

before I spend the money, can someone post the info on how high of a Proc this board will accept. Outragis since you have it in your hands now, think it's still too big for a mp3car setup?
Yea, I was surprised at the 11.50 charge to ship to Texas....The two pdf's I received are too big to upload here. anybody who wants a copy, send me the email address to send them to. They are for two different systems, I won't know which is the right one until I get mine next week. the files are 720K and 384K each.

Well I ordered one too..! I salivated over this http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...category=48744 for a while but that's going to get very expensive I think, can't wait to get the nice cheap touch screen and see how things go. I'm considering trying it in a car, and hints on power control, I have an inverter but it dies as soon as the ignition is turned off.
Chris.
Inverter, SDC, and that NiCad battery that is posted in FS forum, should cover your power in the car. Atleast thats what I'm planning on running.
A Sproggy or 90w Opus should have no problem running this system.
As someone who knows next to nothing about all this power supply / switching stuff I'd really appreciate an idiots guide...! I have an inverter that plugs in to the cig lighter, seems I have to switch it on and off every time the car starts or power doesn't flow. For now I will just go long hand and remember to shutdown before switching off.Originally Posted by none
Long term though, what is the most likely option for someone not too knowledgable about all this?
