outragis, do you have drivers? I downloaded the zip that I think you posted, is that just the sound card driver? How about the touchscreen?
Chris.
Well, this all sounds very cool, I am not expecting mine until Thursday but I am looking forward to it.
Stop Buying New Music CD's.
Hit The RIAA where it lives.
Indash Motorized 7", Epia Nehimiah, 512 MB, 80 GB, DVD, Wireless G, XP Pro, XM PCR, Kenwwod 5 Channel 1200 Watt Amp.
Great, thanks. Seems Marge had included a CD too, just opened the wrong box first!
Couple of questions - when you removed the screen, is it a modular connector, do you think there's a chance of extending it?
Power - lack of a switch is a little frustrating, especially as it doesn't power off either when I do a shotdown, come up with anything better than a switch on the power cord?
Portrait drivers - is that the XP one? XP Integrated? There are an abundance on that page!
Fun, fun fun...!
Chris.
use the video drivers on the sight I posted!
Got an email from Marge, she included a CD-R with all the drivers, have used them for now and all looks good. Only frustration is it seems to forget about portrait mode and you have to switch at startup, plus the touchscreen needs to be recalibrated when you change the orientation.
It does however appear that the rotation app is somewhat independant, not sure if it ties in to the driver or not. I had wondered int he past about the possibilities for flipping the screen with a view to mounting a laptop upside down on the roof of a car. I guess I should try the screen rotation app on my laptop!
Chris.
Nope, rotation must be tied in to the graphics driver, doesn't do squat on my laptop.
Chris.
Can you put a speedier chip in them?
