Yeah, sorry about that, i would have responded earlier, but i was at work. Turn the pc in safe mode, and remove "wapperlite" in the startup menu, then boot up normal. There also is a magnifying "lens" clear peice of film, if you remove that, it will look alot better. So reldridg3, how do you like the pc, tell people what you think of it.

I like it a lot, I am going to mess more with it next week once I get back into town. Today I just move some of the power wires to get away from going through the harness so I can just plug my power supply into the unit. Then got it up and running. I even fooled around with viewing some TV on it.

This system seems like it would make a capable MP3 player or kitchen receipe server. If one has enough space in their car I am pretty sure it would make a nice incar unit.

I am using a 13.5/30vdc converter from radioshack. It seems to be pushing out around 26volts rather than 30volts. Nothing over heats from it and it runs the machine just fine.

I do not have the part number with me but civicduties recommended it to me and it works perfectly.

I looked up the part on radioshacks website and it lists that supply as only up to 1A. Obviously you're able to run the computer using this supply, but I am curious if you have a means to measure the actual current its drawing since civicduties said it required a 3A supply.

I will measure it when I am back in town on Wednesday or Thursday. I ran the 10.5" comp. with the power supply for a few hours and the power supply did not heat up too much. One thing that may have been pulling the extra amps is that apparently these machines used to have card readers and maybe some other things pulling power from them since there are two power output spots on the machine.
